The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is inviting all students to use this opportunity to apply online for NSFAS into the 2022-2023 academic cycle. All NSFAS online applications 2022 opening and closing dates information will be published on NSFAS website online application 2022/2023. Follow the steps below to reset your myNSFAS login details:

  • STEP 1 – Go to: , click on ‘myNSFAS’ and then click
    on ‘forgot password’.
  • STEP 2 – Type in your ID number and choose what you require help with: password or username or both and then click on ‘submit’.
  • STEP 3 – The username and the link to change your password will be sent via SMS and email.
  • STEP 4 – Open the link and you’ll be redirected to the reset password page.
  • STEP 5 – Reset your password by following the prompts on your screen.

Once your funding application becomes successful, NSFAS will cover your costs for

  • Accommodation
  • Transport
  • Living allowance
  • Book allowances
  • Incidental/personal care allowance

If you are unable to complete the application by yourself, you can visit a National Youth Development Agency Centre, a Thusong Centre or one of our application partner’s centre near you, where a NSFAS representative will help you apply. Applications for funding will close on 07 January,2022.
