Establishing the Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA Vacancies) as a parastatal educational institution, the Institute of Accountancy Arusha Act of 1990 brought it into being. The Institute’s Governing Council has ultimate authority over the organization. The Institute has created 37 academic programs in all over the years, ranging from a Basic Technician Certificate to an Ordinary Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, and Master’s Degree. Along with offering short-term courses and seminars, the Institute also caters to the needs of its clients. In addition, it carries out research and consulting as part of its mission. The goal of IAA’s interventions is to establish long-lasting collaborations with business, government, and non-governmental organizations.
