The Public Service Vacancies Department (PSRS) of the MDA and LGA is an autonomous government body that was created with the express purpose of streamlining the hiring process for public servants. The Public Service Act No. 8 of 2002, as revised by Act No. 18 of 2007, section 29(1), established the organ. Our goal is to become the area’s center of excellence for public service. Our goal is to recruit public workers using contemporary methods while upholding the values of merit, equity, and openness. We also aim to advise employers on employment-related issues. Since human resources are an important and crucial component of providing public services, PSRS has been tasked with hiring public employees.
