In 1993, Precision Air Tanzania Vacancies was founded. Initially, it was a private charter airline that flew a five-seater Piper Aztec. From Arusha town as its base, its original operation mostly involved connecting visitors to the abundant natural attractions of the Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater in northern Tanzania, the island of Zanzibar in the Indian Ocean, and other regions of the country. The commercial hub of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam, is currently home to the Precision Air Vacancies airline. Scheduled flights, chartered flights, and cargo air services are the airline’s primary offerings, and they are expanding at a remarkable rate. The company received a self-handling license and permission to conduct ground handling operations from the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) in May 2009. The airline is seeking a third party ground handling license from TCAA. The vast nature of Tanzania coupled with a growing demand for air transport services as the country started to embrace a free market economy soon drove Precision Air into operating scheduled flights maintaining Arusha as its base. The company is an equal opportunity employer. Hence all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
