The government notice No. 254, which was published on August 26, 2005, created the Tanzania Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics Services Agency (TEMESA Vacancies) to assume the duties previously performed by the Ministry of Works’ Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) Division. The Agency was established to achieve the goals of Executive Agencies Act No. 30 of 1997, which calls for it to offer dependable and secure ferry transportation services, equipment rental services to government institutions and the general public, and efficient and effective electrical, mechanical, and electronics services. GOAL To offer ferry services, plant and equipment rental employing contemporary technologies, and dependable, secure, and superior electrical, mechanical, and electronic services. VISION To be a creative and effective company offering engineering services in the region that are focused on customer satisfaction. We operate a fleet of 33 ferries and 7 boats in 22 crossings across the country which on average serves 26.8 million people, 1.7 million motor vehicles and 499 tons of cargo annually. We also manage a network of 30 workshops across the country through which we repair and maintain about 29,263 motor vehicles per annum.
