Gift to the Children Tanzania is the top independent children’s organization in the world. We fight for children’s rights, save lives, and help them reach their full potential in more than 120 countries. Through our essential programming, Save the Children helped over 400 million vulnerable beneficiaries in 2021 to survive, learn, and be protected. Children made up over 180 million (44,7%) of these. Of those contacted, 75 million were reached directly, of whom 43 million (57.5%) were children. In contrast, nearly 330 million were reached indirectly, of whom 139 million (42%) were children. Our vision is for a world where every kid achieves their rights to participation, development, safety, and survival. Our goal is to bring about significant and long-lasting change in the way the world views children by inspiring breakthroughs in this regard.
