A non-governmental organization (NGO) with a mission to operate in Tanzania, Hand in Hand Eastern Africa-Tanzania (HIHEA Tanzania) is a member of the Hand in Hand Global Network and has been registered in Tanzania since 2018. Our goal is to create jobs and sustainable businesses that will empower society, particularly women. Currently, HIHEA (TZ) oversees field operations through its two branches located in Arusha and Moshi. The organization uses a participative approach to work with underprivileged communities in the areas of economic and social empowerment with the goal of assisting people in overcoming poverty and vulnerability.
