Starting with vanilla and other flavor extracts, Natural Extracts Industries Ltd (NEI Limited Vacancy) is leading Tanzania’s sustainable, natural flavor production sector for export to other countries. The business engages in value-added manufacturing, post-harvest processing, international sales and marketing, and cultivation. More than 6,000 vanilla farmers from the Kilimanjaro, Arusha, Morogoro, Mbeya, and Kagera areas are presently part of the smallholder outgrower network. NEI hopes to double the yearly income of each smallholder household through this sourcing strategy in order to have a long-term socioeconomic impact.
