Public Notice For JKT Selection 2022. JKT Forces is a place where young people have the opportunity to learn fully and practically, the meaning and importance of work and also to learn to provide services to their Nation without having to pay any compensation. Therefore, it has become clear that the role of JKT in the development of this Nation is great and very important.
51 years ago, on July 10, 1963 the Nation Building Army was formally formed following the implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet Meeting. The meeting was held on April 19, 1963 under the leadership of the late Commander-in-Chief and President of Tanganyika, Mwalimu Julius Nyerere.
The idea for the establishment of JKT was based on the recommendations of the General Assembly of the Tanganyika African National Union (TANU Youth League), a conference held in Tabora region in 1958 presented by the then General Secretary of TANU Youth League, Mr. Julius Nyerere, who it is now late.
